As I attended my Uncles celebration of life/memorial event at his farm yesterday, a ton of old memories came back. One of them was my first deer. About 30 yards into that tree line and about 34 years ago a 14 year old me stood over a small deer holding a pump 20ga shotgun and thought he was the greatest hunter in the world for a moment. Until I realized I had no idea what to do next. Thanks for the help that day and many other days Uncle Joe.

Testing the new camera last night and I must say I’m impressed so far. Cannon R50 paired with Cannon RF100mm-400mm telephoto lens. Some of these pics of deer were close to 200 yards away in pretty low light(9PM). Still learning all the settings but wow this takes great pics.

So this might be the coolest gift by the best wife ever. She completely surprised me, had me convinced I was driving to Mesick to pick up a shoe shelf that was so big it would only fit in my truck.
